Sterling Silver Horse Necklace from a Civil War Era  Button. A beautifully posed horse on a cliff is the motif on this pendant that created from an original Civil War button. It measures 1" in diameter and weighs a substantial 12 grams. It comes on an adjustable 16-24" stainless steel rolo chain shown. Stainless steel is lightweight, durable and won't ever tarnish. The pendant has a warm silver patina and the back has the words "TREBLE STAND EXTRA RICH" stamped, which tells us it is a button from the Civil War era.  A wonderful and unique piece of jewelry for any horse lover!
