Oval Celluloid Brooch with Carriage, Horse and Hound.

Wonderful oval celluloid carriage with horse and hound brooch pin c.1920. (Celluloid is a material that mimics ivory and was used before plastic was invented) Brooch is made by Depose-France. It measures 2" across and is 1-1/2" tall. It appears that the woman has stopped her carriage and is greeting a gentleman and his hound. What a wonderful piece for the horse lover!
