Antique Sterling Silver Horse Hoof Locket Pendant

Antique Sterling Silver Horse Hoof Locket Pendant. Comes with the 18" chain shown. The locket measures 3/4" wide x 3/4" tall not including the bail or jump ring. It weighs 4.7 grams. This nicely detailed and elegant little locket is a lovely example of late Victorian style. And don't forget in Victorian times, all of the horseshoe jewelry had the horseshoes facing down  so that the luck would run all over you!  It has the same design on both sides and has a very good click closure. The inside of the locket has some scratches- those are from all of the sterling silver testing throughout the years!  This is a great locket pendant for the horse lover!
